  Research Interests

  My group investigates soil fertility evolution, and soil functions support plant health and productivity including cycling of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. We also work on interactions between the winter wheat varieties and soil fertility gradients, soil carbon sequestration in farm-land and soil water management in rain fed agriculture. The three 24 -year long-term field experiments managed by “National Monitoring Base of Soil Fertility & Fertilizer Efficiency on Loess Soil” provide an invaluable resource for these kinds of researches.


  1.Features of soil fertility of arable land in Northwestern region of China and the demonstration of integrated techniques of soil fertility improvement. Financially supported by the Special Fund for Agro-Scientific Research in the Public Interest of China (201203030).
